Youth Advisory Committee
- see all dates
The Southampton Youth Bureau is looking for new members to join its Youth Advisory Committee, (YAC) for 2023-2024. As a YAC member, kids can help make a difference in their communities.
<!--break-->
If you are in grades 7th through 12th and interested in planning trips and events, doing community service projects, and making friends with students from other schools, then sign up for YAC.
Community service projects may include leaf raking for senior citizens, hosting a clothing or toy drive, participating in fundraisers for other youth organizations, meeting with elected officials for youth causes, or other activities that can make a difference in our community. Youth Advisory Committee is a great way to get involved and to earn community service credit hours during the school year.
Meetings are held every other Tuesday beginning September 12 at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue, from 6:30pm to 8pm. Transportation is available upon request. For more information or to register, visit www.southamptontownny.gov/youthbureau or call (631) 702-2421.
