Toyuskanash: Learning Shinnecock Nation History at the Long Island Children's Museum

Sat Aug 6, 2022
Various times
Free with admission ($14)

Learn about featured NEA Artist-in-Residence David Bunn Martine as you learn about wigwams, some of the original structures used by the Shinnecock Nation.

Explore what Long Island might have looked like long ago when wigwams were used.  Use this knowledge to  create beautiful landscape paintings that show wigwams in the natural environment. Schedule: 11am and 1pm.

Visit the latest exhibit, Toyuskanash: Bridges, while you're there!
