Join the Riverhead Parks & Recreation Department for a free, fun day celebrating the community. Live performances, a bounce course, lawn games, a magic show by Jester Jim (12:152-1pm), food trucks, video game truck and more are planned.

The Community Fun Run boasts free t-shirts for the first 50 registrants. It's just under 1 mile on Field 3 at Stotzky Park. Call 631-727-3200 ext. 205/737/700 to sign up.

The Riverhead Fire Department is bringing a ladder truck and giveaways and the Riverhead Police Department can provide free car seat safety checks. Riverhead CAP (Community Awareness Program, Inc.) is also on hand.
