You don't need to be a birder to enjoy the breathtaking sight of Snowy Owls on Jones Beach beaches in winter. These regal visitors from the north are attracted to the tundra-like setting to hunt and rest.

 

Join the Nature Center to find them and other winter raptors, shorebirds, and waterfowl, and to learn about the dynamic coastal ecosystem in play during off-season. Photo opportunities abound. Note: there is no walk if it rains or snows or the temperature is below 25 degrees.
