Topanga hosts its annual Memorial Day celebration which consists of music, artisan booths, great food, and a wide range of games, such as pie eating contests, an animal imitation contest, sack races, and a diaper derby. 

The event also includes the annual Memorial Day parade on Monday, lining up at 7am at Pine Tree Circle in the center of town. The parade starts promptly at 8:30am. This year's parade features a team of Grand Marshals, the Topanga Trash Warriors, who work tirelessly to keep Highway 27 free of trash.

Note that tickets are substantially cheaper for Topanga Community Center members.
