Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas returns for its annual Halloween run at the El Capitan. The film screens in spine-tingling Disney Digital 4D. Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, decides to take Christmas for his own. First step: kidnap Santa!
The El Capitan adds ookie-spooky 4D extras to screenings including lights, scent, wind, snow and fog effects, and a “making of” exhibition, featuring a display of sets from the making of the movie.
The movie is rated PG for some scary images.
Daily showtimes at 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 9:45pm. Opening day (Sept 12) there is a single screening, at 7pm.
Parking rates at the Hollywood & Highland Center are $3 for up to four hours with validation from El Capitan Theatre.
