DUE TO EXPECTED RAIN ON SATURDAY, the schedule for the Moby Dick reading has been changed.  Saturday's reading is CANCELED.  The reading will now be held entirely on Sunday, in an abbreviated version. 

New event hours:  Sunday only, 6:30am - 6:30pm.

In this annual event, folks gather on Venice Beach for a reading of Moby Dick. Everyone's welcome to pull up a chair and listen, or even take a turn reading a few pages.

The entire work is being read, but don't feel you have to stay for the whole thing.
