Kayaking Basics at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

$30 member/$50 non-member (per pair of paddlers, no singles, each child must be accompanied by adult)

Get up close and personal with turtles and fish as you learn the basics of kayaking, paddling, and general water safety from Naturalists at the Houston Arboretum's 1-acre pond. 

Classes meet at the South Meadow Deck. Please plan for a 15 minute walk to get to the pond. Ages 5 & up (no exceptions, must be able to hold paddle on their own and fit into our PFDs). 

Two Time Slots: 9:30 – 10:30 am and 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

The rain date for this class is May 1.
