Celebrate Texas History Month with hands-on activities, tours, and re-enactors. Learn about life in the 1800s as you travel to the Texas frontier, towns, and villages, excavate like an archaeologist, write with quills, and more.

Included in your adventure is a tour of the 1823 “Old Place” cabin and a  replica of a general store built circa 1870s.  Re-enactors from Jesse H. Jones Park and BBC Nature Center bring the past to life.
