Houston Zoo Celebrates 713 Day
- see all dates
In honor of 713 Day, the Houston Zoo is offering $7.13 general admission tickets on Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13—a special opportunity to explore the Zoo at a fraction of the price.
Tickets must be reserved online at houstonzoo.org in advance.
As part of the celebration, the Zoo will highlight local conservation efforts with Houston-based community partners, offer Houston-themed animal enrichment during Meet the Keeper chats (presented by CenterPoint Energy Foundation), and feature live music throughout the grounds.
Guests are also invited to make a difference by recycling handheld electronics—such as old phones or chargers—at the Zoo’s main entrance. These devices contain tantalum, a material tied to destructive mining practices that threaten wildlife in Central Africa.
Enjoy a day of learning, music, and wildlife—and take part in helping protect animals both locally and around the world.
Note: This offer is part of the Zoo’s ongoing “Zoo for All” initiative to ensure access and inspire action to save wildlife.
