The West Point Band presents its annual Independence Day concert and celebration, which marks the grand re-opening of the Trophy Point Amphitheater. The performance includes music ranging from patriotic favorites to rock and roll and is followed by a dramatic fireworks display overlooking the Hudson River. Picnics welcome.

Established in 1817, the West Point Band is the Army’s oldest musical organization, and it continues to provide world-class music to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets and to serve as ambassadors of the United States Military Academy and the Army to local, national, and international communities.
