Luminaria, lanterns, and three outdoor fires will light the festivities at Connecticut’s oldest house as visitors gather to enjoy roasted marshmallows and chestnuts, popcorn, hot cocoa, mulled cider, and readings of The Night Before Christmas. Take a self-guided tour of the 1639 Whitfield House after dark, learn about the origins of Christmas traditions in the Holidaze display, and paint a pine cone ornament to take home.
