Start your morning by walking with families along a 1.5-mile loop around the Quinnipiac River — over two bridges and through the historic riverfront district of Fair Haven. After the stroll, the festival activities begin.

There will be drums, live family-friendly music and dance, parachute play, puppets, face painting, food vendors, bubbles, yoga, arts and crafts, and a whole lot of door prizes. Over 35 local community partners will also be on hand to highlight local resources available to families, from health clinics and healthy food to literacy to safety to enrichment activities. The event helps increase awareness about the importance of high-quality early childhood education. As a fundraiser, it helps families in the community access this high-quality care at Friends Center for Children and Elm City Montessori School. Suggested donation of $10/family.
