Wildman Steve Brill leads a fall foraging tour of Tarrywile Park, beginning in the lower parking area to the right of the park entrance. Medicinal herbs, like black birch twigs, are in season, and wild apples, chickweed and sheep sorel are all ripe for picking too.

If there has been sufficient rain beforehand, there may also be lots of choice gourmet mushrooms in the woods, including huge chicken mushrooms, boletes, and puffballs.
