In partnership with Read to Grow, Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo will be hosting an author signing, book giveaway and story time. Come meet Randy Houk, author of "Ruffle, Coo and Hoo Doo", which is a book about animal protection and environmental preservation that is set in Bridgeport. 

Zoo guests will receive a signed copy of his book and listen to a story time by the author himself. Other animal themed books will also be distributed and all books are available on a first come first serve basis.
