Wallingford Scarecrow Festival
Sat Oct 19, 2024
10:00am to 3:00pm ET
Age: All Ages
Price: Free
The Scarecrow Festival returns and includes: Build your own scarecrow to take home and the return of our very own ‘home-made’ apple fritters! Shop from a large variety of local crafters and vendors. Fun and games for the kids like face painting, hayrides and bounce house.
Build A Scarecrow Contest – No charge to enter! Scarecrows should be sturdy enough to be outdoors for several days, even in wind or rain. The more scarecrows, the more fun looking at them. So, get creative (or just Google ideas online) and fill out an entry form.
The deadline for entries is October 10th. Set-up days are October 12-17; a 4-ft stake with your name will mark where the scarecrow can be set up.
