Total Solar Eclipse at the Farm at Lyman Orchards
Mon Apr 8, 2024
1:00pm to 5:00pm ET
Age: 3+
Price: Free
It's school vacation week and Connecticut is going to have a view of the Solar Eclipse. Come early to grab lunch, play yard games and make your own eclipse chalk art. The first 70 people (starting at 1pm) will receive free eclipse glasses with any purchase made at the Apple Barrel Farm Market.
Yard games will be outside on the Apple Barrel Patio. The solar eclipse begins in Connecticut at 2:13pm with peak at 3:27pm and ends around 4:37pm.
A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of the Earth.
