This Native American Heritage Month join the Mystic Seaport Museum in welcoming back the Eastern Medicine Singers for an afternoon of drumming, singing, and teaching. Made up of RI, NY, NJ, and Southeastern Massachusetts Tribes, the Eastern Medicine Singers are dedicated to keeping the eastern woodlands American Indian culture alive, and are proud to sing and drum in the language of Massachuset and Wampanoag dialect. In this participatory program, enjoy traditional and contemporary music while learning about American Indian traditions, history, and culture today.
