Celebrate Juneteenth at Mystic Seaport Museum. 

On Sunday, June 11, Mystic Seaport Museum and Discovering Amistad are collaborating for the fourth year to bring a Juneteenth recognition event to the grounds of the Museum. A special program – including a keynote lecture, live music, artisan vendors, and tours of the 128-foot flagship of Connecticut, the Amistad.

On June 19, Juneteenth, join us at the Performance Stage at 2:00 pm for the one-woman show “Harriet Tubman: Woman with a Railroad.” Written and performed by Adwoa Bandele-Asante, this show is arguably the best post-Civil War portrayal of Harriet Tubman to date.
