Families from Team Western Suburbs Chicago join together to walk around Lake Ellyn to raise awareness and funds for perinatal mental health. Climb Out of Darkness is an annual fundraiser for Postpartum Support International, so participants are encouraged, although not required, to raise funds for the organization. The event also includes fun activities, giveaways and playtime at the park for kids. Parents can get out and meet other parents at this event. About 75% of the funds raised stay in DuPage County.
