The University of Chicago Symphony Orchestra presents a Halloween concert, featuring an array of eerie, mysterious, and spine-tingling works, alongside the Hyde Park School of Dance's energetic choreography, costumes, story-telling, and special effects, for a fun-filled, family-friendly event. 

Works performed will includeLiszt’s Mazeppa and Malcolm Arnold’s Tam O’Shanter, along with Saint-Saëns’ Danse macabre, the Witches Ride from Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and excerpts from Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and E.T.

There will be two performances, at 7pm and 9pm. Audience costumes encouraged. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
