Join José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s 36th annual production of The Nutcracker this holiday season! JMBT welcomes dancers of all backgrounds to audition for the children’s roles for the upcoming Nutcracker season. Auditions are open to all young dancers ages 6-18. No dance experience required for the youngest roles.

Performances will be from December 6-22, 2024 at The Strand Theatre in Dorchester, MA.

Please attend the audition slot matching the age of your young dancer.

  • 9:00–10:00AM | Ages 6-7

  • 10:15–11:15AM | Ages 8-10

  • 11:30AM–12:30PM | Ages 11-12

  • 1:00–2:15PM | Ages 13-15

  • 2:30–4:00PM | Ages 16-18
