Seafarers Island Holiday
This annual boat trip visits Thompson Island with its meadows, forests, beaches and 40 acre salt marsh.
Pack a picnic, explore on your own or take a tour with an FBHI volunteer. There is no food sold on the boat or the island. There will be a building open for warmup space and a book and merchandise sales table. Park policy is no pets and no alcohol.
Travel on MV Freedom has three decks and is heated. The trip departs at 12:00pm sharp and return to the dock at 4:00m. Boarding begins at 11:30am. Departs Mass Bay Lines, Rowes Wharf, Boston on the MV Freedom. MBL is behind the Boston Harbor Hotel. Check in with the FBHI volunteers in the ferry terminal. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the trip (Cash only please). The trip goes rain or shine. If the captain/boat company cancel the trip due to severe weather conditions Brown Paper Tickets will issue a refund.
