The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon, Boston’s only triathlon, is inviting kids throughout Greater Boston to experience and combine a few of the different elements of a triathlon, including swimming and running at its 2019 Kids Day.

The event features activities dedicated solely to kids, including the USA Triathlon-sanctioned Kids Splash & Dash for athletes ages 7-15 and the Kids Fun Run for athletes under the age of 7.

The swimming takes place at DCR Carson Beach in South Boston near the McCormack Bathhouse and is in shallow water. The run takes place on the Harborwalk and the DCR Mother’s Rest Field.

Now in its seventh year, the USA Triathlon Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon Series is comprised of more than 60 events across the country.
