The second Saturday of every month is free from 10:00am to 12:00pm for families with school-aged children.

Families are invited to participate in hands-on activities that delve into the art, history, and culture of the Cape Ann region.

JAN: Explore the inventive worlds of children's book illustrations in the special exhibitions on view this winter: The Little House: Her Story and Once Upon a Contest: Selections from Cape Ann Reads then create your own storybook in the Activity Center. Registration recommended.

FEB: Katy and the Big Snow: Families are invited to this special performance of Robert Bradshaw’s original composition based on Virginia Lee Burton’s book. Offered in conjunction with the special exhibition The Little House: Her Story. Performance at 11:00 a.m.
