Have you ever wondered how animals survive in winter? Become a 'Nature Detective' and learn about “stories in the snow” and many other signs that wildlife leave behind as clues to how and where they travel to find food and shelter.

Join Trailside's Teacher Naturalist Kathleen Regan for a semi-private (only 2-3 families) outdoor family exploration atop Chickatawbut Hill at the Norman Smith Environmental Education Center. This program includes an examination of animal biofacts and up-close animal encounter with one of our resident animals.
