Presented by the South Boston Historical Society, this is a discussion of Evacuation Day, what happened in March of 1776, and why is this the most important holiday in South Boston.

Colonel Henry Knox will discuss the Noble Train of Artillery, and representatives from Boston National Historical Park will discuss plans for a major rehabilitation of the South Boston Landmark, the Dorchester Heights Monument at Thomas Park.
