Activities include a walking tour with four participating artists (Freedom Baird, Resa Blatman, Christopher Frost, Johnny Lapham) and live music at Spy Pond Park featuring The Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, a group of superb musicians who play the sometimes soulful, sometimes rollicking, music of New Orleans Mardi Gras as well as originals by bandleader Ken Field.

Odaiko New England, dynamic Taiko drummers based in Arlington, kick off the celebration at 3pm at the entrance to the Minuteman Bikeway near the Kickstand Cafe. At this location at 3:15, meet the artists who have painted 5 new Transformer Boxes: collaborators Laurie Bogdan & Karen McCarthy, Aubrey Cloutier, Chi-Yun Lau, Molly Scannell and Shunsuke Yamaguchi. Light refreshments will be available, including pizza donated by Za Restaurant.
