Mass Audubon's Joppa Flats Education Center is sending migrating songbirds south for the winter with a fun, free family event.

A full day of activities and exhibits will feature bird banding demonstrations, interactive games, and lots of table-top science. Younger children can enjoy crafts and games while older children can get involved in physics and engineering fun. Family presentations will be offered at half-past each hour.

No preregistration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
