Get ready to explore ice and snow at the Waterworks Museum! Little engineers will make different snowflake shapes out of pipe cleaners, then try using geometric shapes to create snowflakes.

Kids will also learn about how salt alters the freezing point of water first-hand at our water tables, and take a closer look at the water cycle as you make a Lifecycle of a Snowman spinner.

At 12:30 pm staff will demonstrate the effects of road salt on drinking water supplies using our watershed model. It’ll be snow much fun!

Please reserve tickets in advance.
