What the Fluff? Festival
What the Fluff? A Tribute to Union Square Innovation is a lively festival celebrating the invention of Marshmallow Fluff and Somerville’s legacy of creativity. This year will feature live music, fluff-filled feasts, fun games, and zany activities.
This year's theme, "Somerville Over the Rainbow: No Place Like Fluff," invites attendees to leave the ordinary behind and embrace a world of colorful fun. For the 19th year, Fluff enthusiasts will gather in the heart of the city to celebrate with whimsical food, toe-tapping performances, and family-friendly games. The event promises plenty of laughter and delicious moments, making it a truly joyful occasion.
Participants are encouraged to wear vibrant outfits, round up friends and family, and follow the marshmallow road to Union Square. "There's No Place Like Fluff" for a magical day full of surprises.
What the Fluff? is organized by Union Square Main Streets, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the character and strength of the Union Square business district, in partnership with the Somerville Arts Council’s ArtsUnion initiative to boost cultural economic development.
