Naughty Peter Rabbit disobeys his mother and sets off to find adventure — and lunch — in Mr. McGregor’s garden. Plus, a bonus presentation of the favorite Norwegian fairy tale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and some surprise special puppet guests.
In this modern adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic tale, presented by Pumpernickel Puppets, Peter's colorful story is presented with large hand puppets, live voices and sound effects, and audience participation.
Peter Rabbit is paired with a bonus presentation of the favorite Norwegian fairy tale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and some surprise special puppet guests.

About the Artist
For nearly 50 years, Pumpernickel Puppets has captivated audiences of all ages with humorous and colorful adaptations of classic folk and fairy tales. John McDonough and his puppets present over 250 shows a year at schools, libraries, and private parties throughout the New England area. For each production, John creates and performs all of his own puppets, which range from small hand puppets to larger-than-life figures.
John was four years old when he saw his first puppet show, and he immediately knew that he wanted to be a puppeteer. By his teens, John was presenting shows all over the New England area. Pumpernickel Puppets have had the honor of appearing at The Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, The Center for Puppetry Arts, Atlanta, GA, and the prestigious International Festival of Puppetry. sponsored by the Jim Henson Foundation in New York.
