Silvermoon LaRose of the Tomaquag Museum will offer a first-person perspective on the history, culture, and traditional arts of Southern New England Tribal Communities. Cultural belongings will illustrate the talk.

Silvermoon LaRose, a member of the Narragansett Tribe, is the Assistant Director of the Tomaquag Museum. The Tomaquag Museum is Rhode Island’s only Indigenous-led museum dedicated to educating everyone on Indigenous cultures through engagement and shared dialogue to reconcile the past and empower present and future generations.
