The New England Botanic Garden invites kids to craft their own felt orchid collage inspired by the species of orchids on display in the conservatories for Patterns in Bloom, An Orchid Exhibition. The group will explore the living orchids and the larger-than-life orchid sculptures and learn about the characteristics of an orchid and their unique patterns.

Learn the basics of fabric collage with simple crafting techniques for layering, cutting, and color composition. Each participant will use scissors, felt, and glue to form their own unique felted orchid collage.

Please note: This class is for kids with or without their adult companions.
