Community Boat Building is in one word AWESOME! My daughter loved making new friends, learning how to make a footie, and they had a woman come by the whole camp week with sea creatures. It's a wonderful positive place that helps her continue to learn without the pressure from school. They help her come out of her shell every time she goes to the camps. I recommend everyone bring their child/children in for the fun learning and parents are welcomed to stay and watch the wonder in their children's eyes. There is no place like it.

Community Boat Building is a great program. My son has taken part in their school program and he LOVES it. He really enjoyed helping to build a skiff with his class this year. They make learning math and science fun. He has also taken part in the school vacation programs that they offer. He never wants to leave whenever he's there. He was able to help build another skiff at t\he New England Boat show in February. During the April vacation program, he built a footy (model boat) and learned how to row in Fort Port Channel. Captain John and Margery are really great with the kids. They really know how to make learning fun. If you're looking for an activity for your kids where they'll have a lot of fun, as well as learn things, I would highly recommend Community Boat Building. They will have a blast!
