Families head to Avalon, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, for a day full of holiday activities. The festival kicks off at 2pm with an ice-skating performance followed by the opening of the rink to the public. 

Parents and kids can stay all afternoon for face painting, balloon art and live entertainment. The main event happens at 7:00pm with Santa counting down to the lighting of the magnificent Avalon tree. 

Schedule of Events: 

2PM to 3PM: Atlanta Figure Skating Club

Gather around the rink for a magical ice skating performance featuring student of all ages.

3PM to 5PM: Activity Row

Take the family for a stroll along Avalon Boulevard for face painting, balloon art, photo booth fun, and more!

3PM to 9PM: Avalon On Ice

Avalon on Ice officially opens to the public at 3PM.

3PM to 5:15PM: Holiday Performances

3PM to 3:20PM: Atlanta Dance Theater
3:30PM to 4:00PM: The Davis Academy
4:15PM to 4:45PM: North Point Community Church
4:45PM to 5:15PM: Run Katie Run

5:30PM to 7:30PM: Bogey and the Viceroy
