Rewind: Anime & Manga Edition
Calling all anime lovers, manga collectors, cosplayers, and fans of Japanese pop culture—REWIND: Anime & Manga Edition is taking over The Art Place on November 1st.
This brand-new event, presented by Cobb PARKS, is all about celebrating fandom the way it’s meant to be celebrated—by fans, for fans. With a mix of workshops, fan-led panels, demos, and classic anime film screenings, REWIND is bringing the community together for one epic day of creativity, connection, and throwback favorites.
Sign up for a track that interests you - each track is $15, one and a half hours long, and includes a commemorative t-shirt and reserved seating for an anime screening. There are two tracks from 1:00pm - 2:30pm for kids ages 8-15, one that focuses on manga art and one that focuses on building and playing the Pokemon trading card game (they will provide pre-built decks).
They are also offering a later track from 4:30pm-7:30pm which will include talented panelists and workshops for ages 16/Up. This track is $20.
All movies are free to the public, and each screening will occur after tracks. The first movie will occur around 2:30pm, with the second after 7:30pm.
