Virtual Afro-Latinx Festival
The Museum of Latin American Art celebrates the cultural diversity of the Americas and the African influence in Latin America.
For over a decade, MOLAA has dedicated a day to celebrating the cultural impact of the African diaspora in the Americas through music, dance, and food at its Afro-Latinx Family Festival. MOLAA’s 2021 online festival spans almost two weeks and highlights the voices and experiences of Afro-Latinx through conversations, performances, and presentations from artists, scholars, and community organizers.
All events take place via Zoom and are free and accessible to the public. Guests can register on Zoom to participate in the live events or may view at any time on the MOLAA YouTube Channel.
