The Pediatric Workshop at Groove Family Music
Perfect for parents, caregivers, expectant mothers, nannies, the Pediatric Workshop is designed to promote confidence and teamwork to ensure you react quickly and effectively in emergencies in children and infants. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a digital C.P.R., A.E.D., and First Aid certification valid for two years.
Participants will be performing the following life-saving skills: Infant/Child CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Rescusitation), Bleeding Control, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Choking Relief, Seizure Response, Epi-Pen administration, Splinting, Tourniquet Use, and more. The Pediatric Workshop is led by Steve Sharkey, FDNY firefighter, EMT, educator, and Founder of EXO Workshops. First responder owned and operated, EXO offers realistic first-aid workshops which mimic real life scenarios and focus on building confidence through teamwork and communication.
