Children learn how to spin plant fibers, including bananas, corn, and mint to make yarn and a mini wall hanging at Lasdon Park and Arboretum. Spinning fiber from bananas can be fun and results in a soft, silky yarn that’s strong and biodegradable.

Ages 5 years old and up. Six children max. Pre-registration is required and no walk-ins can be accomodated.
