Join this stellar event and experience one of the universe’s greatest cosmic coincidences at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum Pavilion with a Total Solar Eclipse viewing party! Though Poughkeepsie is not in the path of totality for this total eclipse, we will experience just over 90% eclipse coverage.

There will also be engaging STEAM programs, delicious food, and a galaxy of solar-themed activities including:  

• Special presentation by NASA scientist
• Kids activities including eclipse crafts
• Eclipse science demonstrations
• Presentations in our new digital 4K planetarium about our solar system and the universe beyond
