Participate in creative arts workshops inspired by the current exhibitions at the Katonah Museum of Arts during the winter break. Each day brings new and exciting projects facilitated by teaching artists.

Tuesday, December 26: Embroidery Experiments
Be inspired by the beautiful, embroidered works on view in Stories of Syria’s Textiles and experiment with simple, safe embroidery techniques to create artistic designs in a new way. 

Wednesday, December 27: Design Your Own Block Prints
Have some printmaking fun at the KMA as we create unique raised printing plates, then use ink and rollers to make one-of-a-kind block prints.

Thursday, December 28: Circular Weaving
Take a fresh spin on traditional weaving with colorful yarns and creative patterns! As a bonus, the KMA will supply a take-home loom so the weaving magic never ends. 

Friday, December 29: Fabric Collage
Transform fabric scraps, textured textiles, funky trimming and more to create imaginative fabric collage artworks.

Registration recommended. Ages 3-8 with an adult; ages 9-12 can be dropped off.
KMA Members: Child $6, Adult Free.
Non-Members: Child $12, Adult $12. Seniors and non-participating Students aged 13 and over $6.
