Celebrate Juneteenth in Haverstraw with dancing and a flag-raising ceremony on June 18, followed by a festival starting at 3:30pm on June 19, featuring a kids' zone, live entertainment, food, and vendors.

The history of the Black community in Haverstraw is celebrated in the African American Memorial Park, located at 41 Clinton Street in Haverstraw. The park features a kiosk with displays about local history and the African diaspora.
