The Katonah Art Center has become a beacon for visual arts in Northern Westchester. With a staff of artists, many world renowned, the school provides art classes and events for students of all ages in a creative and supportive atmosphere. As of 2016, the new KAC location is housed in a beautifully renovated 1912 schoolhouse within walking distance from the Goldens Bridge train station. KAC offers over 100 classes in a wide range of topics for all levels, summer and holiday camps, college portfolio prep, and art-themed parties for both kids and adults. The art center has three painting studios, two pottery studios, a children's art room, an Apple computer lab, and a specialty studio for printmaking, metals, glass, and wood. They now offer one-day, 3-hour workshops with all materials provided as an opportunity to try your hand at different mediums and crafts. Beginners and accomplished artists alike will find a haven in which to learn and broaden and explore their skills.
