Celebrate the crisp autumn season with 18th-century activities and demonstrations at the Farm at Mount Vernon. Watch wheat-treading demonstrations in Washington's innovative 16-sided threshing barn, and visit the Farrier to learn how horseshoeing was performed in the 18th century. See how laundry was done and help in the process, and watch demonstrations of cooking, candle-making, and spinning.
