Three miles of 7th Street NW close to cars and open the street for people to walk, bike, scoot, and play. With classes and demonstrations including yoga, arts and crafts, live music, and more, there's something for all ages and abilities.

Businesses along the route provide space for outdoor dining and retail.

DDOT is excited to announce its second Bike Giveaway for Open Streets where District residents can apply to receive a FREE BIKE. 51 bikes (22 adult, 29 children's) will be available for District residents. 

To be eligible for the raffle, participants must be a District resident and available to pick up the bicycle at Open Streets on Saturday, October 5th between 9am and 2:30pm.
