Light up the longest night of the year with a candlelit walk through the woods at Locust Grove Nature Center. Families can mark the winter solstice in the tradition of ancient cultures with a reflection on darkness and light as they walk through the woods with candles and enjoy a campfire at the end of the hike.

Participants can register for a time slot between 4pm and 7pm. Sunset will occur around 4:50pm so it's recommended to chose an earlier time slot for younger children when there will still be some light. All adults and children over age 2 must register in advance for the hike.
