Join DC Parks & Rec for a one-of-a-kind community experience at the 2025 Fishing Derby! The Southwest Duck Pond will be transformed into a family-friendly fishing haven. The ducks will be temporarily relocated and the pond will be filled with fish! Learn the fundamentals of fishing with provided equipment. 

You don't need to fish; you can relax in a serene park setting. This is FREE and open to the public with expert anglers on-site to guide you.
