Celebrate Independence Day in downtown Manassas with a fun festival with lots of activities for kids beginning at 3pm, followed by a fireworks display at 9:15pm.

The festival near the Historic Downtown train depot features rides for kids, face painting, caricatures, food, and fun contests. Families can enter a watermelon-eating contest, a bike-decorating contest, and a pie-baking contest.

For the fireworks display, guests can bring chairs to sit on the Manassas Museum lawn or purchase tickets for the rooftop party with games, food, and drinks. No pets.
