Get ready for a joyful celebration honoring departed ancestors and loved ones through Día de los Muertos or “Day of the Dead” traditions.

Enjoy sand painting with stencils, vibrant cultural storytelling, giant skeleton puppets, and a lively Calaveras procession led by Teatro Familia Aztlán, including a special stop at Lupe, the museum’s 14,000-year-old muerto mammoth.

Día de los Muertos originated in Mexico and is observed by many of Mexican heritage around the world. Come learn and celebrate with us!
